for couples who are sure they want to be together
You’ve met that special person. You’re in love. You want to get married.
You feel like your dreams are coming true, and you’re ready to take the next step into marriage. You’ve waited for this day your entire life. You’ve imagined the dress, the flowers, the people, the ceremony, and you’re ready to get married.
Now you’re planning your wedding. There’s excitement in the air. You feel like you can conquer the world.
And this is where some doubt begins to creep in. With the divorce rate just over 50% in the US, if you want to make your marriage work, read on.
Maybe you’re imagining that since you’re so good together that you’ll NEVER have the same problems that other people have. You’re not those people. You’re more conscious than they are. You’ve got your act together.
Maybe you’ve never seen a successful marriage. You’ve grown up with divorced parents navigating holidays at two homes. And you’ve vowed not to go down the same path. Your marriage will be different, you think.
While it’s fun and exciting to be planning your wedding, the question I have for you is, Are you planning your life together?
I’m sorry to say, the wedding day does not make a marriage. The dream will quickly turn into a nightmare if you fail to plan.
Marriage is “where the rubber hits the road” so to speak, and merging your life with someone is no light undertaking.
It’s where every fear you’ve ever had rears it’s ugly head. It’s where things you thought were cute about your partner at one time turn into frustrations.
You’ll begin to question yourself and your judgment. You’ll begin to think your partner lied about themselves. You’ll begin to think you made a mistake.
You’d better have the skills you need to navigate your marriage successfully.
You must understand how your partner sees the world differently than you do, and you must learn to navigate those differences or you’ll end up like so many people who leave their marriages disillusioned.
You don’t want to go down that path. You don’t want to be another statistic.
Whether this is your first marriage or your 4th, I work from a strong belief that you can Consciously co-create a great marriage that is a win/win for both of you when you have the right foundation and skills to make it work.
That’s why I created the 90 Day Premarital Program to help you make relationship choices that work for both of you. The program includes, coaching, education and mentoring for your marriage success. (Ideally this program is entered together, but you can “fly solo” and get great results.)
Here’s what one happy couple has to say:
“I’ve been with Charlie for 12 years and I really want to get married. He’d been married twice before and was unsure about getting married again. Through coaching with Kimi, she helped us understand each other, as a man and a woman, (all that instinctual stuff), and work out deals that we were both really happy with. We’re on the same page now, and we’ve set the date! I feel so blessed to have been working with Kimi! Thank you sooooo much!” ~ C.P. Redwood City, California
