I’m Kimi Avary, and I’m all about Love! I love my life! I love my husband Art who I met when I was 38! I love my work helping men and women understand each other so that they can get to the love and partnership that they truly want! I have a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology, and a Bachelors Degree in Family Studies and Human Development. I’m an NLP Health Certified Master Practitioner and Trainer, a licensed Relationship Coach, a PAX Programs Licensed Partner (the creators of the Celebrating Men, Satisfying Women workshop series), and a Core Transformation leader. Dr. John Gray of the Mars/Venus series is personally endorsing my new book “Falling in Love, Staying in Love!” I am so blessed to be able to do what I love for the past 8 years; helping couples have great relationships!
And it wasn’t always this way. I went through years of heartbreak and agony trying to find my guy. I wanted to be in a life-long partnership with my soul-mate – to be married to that special man. But I couldn’t seem to do it. I have lots of male friends, in fact, I watched two men I was in love with marry other women. I was their buddy, not their woman. I felt like there was something wrong with me. I felt like I intimidated men, and spent a lot of time confused and frustrated.
Then when I was 37, I took a course that taught me about men. Where the content came from men, NOT women! I was blown away. I learned that men and women are so different that we’d be better off if we actually spoke different languages! Then we wouldn’t think we were communicating! It changed everything. It made it possible for me to receive the love that I’d always wanted in my life, and Art and I been married since 2010.
What I know now is that marriage is just the beginning! It’s where “the rubber hits the road!” Relationships are fun, amazing, AND challenging! Anytime you’re dealing with someone other than yourself, it’s a wee bit inconvenient . . . ok . . . extremely inconvenient. I had to up my game to be have the partnership I truly wanted.
I studied relationship psychology and spirituality. I went to seminars. I was a sponge. Now, everything I’ve done is in my toolkit. The things I’ve learned, when combined, worked for me in my relationship. All this has made it possible to have a great relationship with Art. Which is why I’m so passionate about bringing it to you.
